Witness extract: “We saw a very bright white light…that wasn’t blinding - vanished.”

Witness extract: “I noticed what looked like a star gliding so smoothly over the sky, at a speed I cannot even comprehend - was brighter than a star.”

Witness extract: “Looked like a moving star up in the sky which I’ve seen on a few occasions and thought were satellites - then with in a few seconds it grew to about and I can only guess 5-to 6 times it size maybe as much as 10 and seem to glow but it looked a long way up so still looked small to me - the second it disappeared my daughter arrived at the window to witness there was a large bright flash up in the sky like somebody had taken a photo in the area it was travelling to right in front of it in the same trajectory.”

Witness extract: “The craft lowered from out of our atmosphere and stood still for around five minutes. … I noticed 4 prongs at what seemed like the front of the craft and the sides…. I then turned to tell a friend I had videoed it and it simply vanished.”

Witness extract: “I was woken up at about 03:45 and could hear something on fire, so I went to my window and saw something on fire and someone trying to put it out so I ran outside to help - when I got there I noticed that person was not human - I startled the person and they turned round and shot me with something - I awoke in the field the next day.”

Witness extract: “ took a picture of the sea and then took another one and there was this black thing in the sky.”

Witness extract: “Black speck about 100,000 ft up appeared when flying my RC Plane, it hovered for about a minute before accelerating very quickly and disappeared before the horizon - shape was very distinctly trapezoidal, with the smaller edge being the leading edge.”

Witness extract: “Standing in our garden, my Wife and I noticed a low-flying red micro light aircraft slowly crossing the sky - as we watched it pass overhead, I noticed what appeared to be a silent, white oval-shaped object cross virtually in front of the aircraft, appearing to almost collide with it - object then slowly travelled towards the north-west finally disappearing from our view behind trees.”

Witness extract: “1 first….then 3 followed, each with.. single light….moving very quickly….over Broadwater area of Worthing.”

Witness extract: “7 or 8 orange flame like objects appeared in almost a bird formation - definitely not Chinese lanterns - moved very fast and silently, they kept in formation and didn’t fade, just disappeared.”

Witness extract: “I saw an unusually bright star - after viewing it for a second or two it proceeded to move very fast through the sky, darting forward becoming stationary then darting forward again - I watched this for around 1 minute before the object went out of view.”

Witness extract: “A blue oval shaped UFO was seen flying from north to south following a passenger jet from Birmingham airport - was travelling at the same speed and height for a good 2 minutes when it flew under the jet for around 10 seconds, and then pulled up behind it again - shortly after this it went back the other way at speed.”

Witness extract: “We were sitting in the garden last night when we saw a really bright massive light in the sky - it was surrounded by a red light - it was very quiet, no noise - it glided overhead then it just went black.”

Witness extract: “looked like a star, maybe slightly larger & brighter, was performing elaborate moves right above our heads without any discretion - it was making super fast zigzagging motions, going round in circles, or just shooting slightly in one direction but never leaving a small part of the sky - this happened for nearly a hour.”

Witness extract: “It was shaped like a ring or hoop and one side flashed red and the other simultaneously flashed green - It seemed a fair distance, it also seemed to be moving very slowly across the sky but I think it was still and the earth was moving.”

Witness extract: “Looking up the hill a large black object shot across the road from right to left - it was, at a rough estimate, around 20 foot long and totally silent - I had my windows down and radio on at a low volume - It was shaped like a cylinder - I only saw the object for a couple of seconds as it crossed the road between the trees lining both sides of the road - it was roughly at tree top height.”

Witness extract: “A blurred object is all I can say preceded the plane which itself was almost a blur - they went west and out to sea.”

Witness extract: “I saw 2 objects in the sky quite far away, I see a lot of aircraft here due to local airport and North East air ambulance so I know what to look for, but these two objects were moving slowly towards me kept the same distance apart one behind other - then they both started moving right like a right angle it was weird to watch - they were like a round egg - shape and a grey blue colour.”

Witness extract: “Another object flew over the top of the aircraft at over twice the speed of the 747 but did NOT leave a trail - I tracked the second object for about 2 seconds before it was out of sight - the object was a lot smaller than the 747 and silver in colour - I have never seen anything travel at this speed.”

Witness extract: “my attention was drawn to a silver coloured egg shaped object which followed closely behind the plane . The object suddenly stopped and then moved southwest away from the Easy Jet plane. The object continued to move slowly then stopped again before it moved at a right angle to the south. After circling around slowly several times the object moved west and was lost from sight.”

Witness extract: “Appeared to be a silvery/lit object high overhead - object moved slowly from roughly south to north west direction and appeared to be rotating/tumbling and changing shape as it did so - while it simply became obscured by the clouds and visual contact was lost.”

Witness extract: “This UFO was sighted by my daughter - . She took the photo with her smart phone looking out of her bedroom window in a northerly direction.”

Witness extract: “a fairly low triangular shaped plane, flying “side on”(not from the pointy bit like on a stealth fighter), this was quickly followed by another plane doing exactly the same thing - both had a light at the wing tips and the usual flashing light in the middle and both made this unusual jet sound - these were definitely man made but nothing I’ve ever seen before.”

Witness extract: “Four lights moving simultaneously two red two green going left and right up and down across the sky looked like round shapes it was there for a few minutes went and came back for another few minutes.”

Witness extract: “There have been some lights in the sky above my area for a few days now - at a fairly reliable time they appear to within cloud range and move slightly across the sky.”

Witness extract: “I saw a very fast moving silver spherical object probably around 200 feet high (although it was hard to tell how high). Faster than any plane or helicopter and no wings – simply a silver sphere - approximately 10 minutes later I viewed two lights (seemed to be spheres which shone) in the eastern sky, which were moving exceedingly fast and circling each other.”

Witness extract: “5 silver UFOs in the sky over in the Loughborough area near 3M - the five objects were moving in a erratic manner, but not like a bird formation etc. - they then flashed from one part of the sky to the other.”

Witness extract: “A perfect equilateral triangle of bright white lights formed - one at each triangle apex - all 5 adults witnessed it and all watched the lights fade to black and not reappear in the next 15 minutes.”

Witness extract: “Two blackish objects rising at circa 45 degrees angle intermittently flashing.”

Witness extract: “I only saw one at first - the object got my attention because of how high up in the sky it was, for me it was too high to be a plane - there was no cloud coming from the engines like you normally see from a plane - I thought maybe it could be a plane, till the 2nd appeared behind it, which was kind of lit up like a bright ball, this was more noticeable.”

Witness extract: “I was travelling from Yair towards Caddonfoot on the A707 when I was two lights almost parallel crossing the sky from left to right - I don’t consider that it was too high in the sky - they appeared to bank and then I saw a third light, which appeared to form a triangle - I slowed my vehicle and watched it move fairly slowly until it was out of sight.”

Witness extract: “On my right hand side just hovering over the trees were three lights in a triangle shape red green white - not sure what it was but it was quite big.”

Witness extract: “We saw a white ball of light rise slowly behind the trees and up into the sky. Then thing ball of light grew into a oblong shape - the other orange light just whizzed higher and that disappeared - this oblong shape hovered above the lake and flew over the lake at this point.”

Witness extract: “In-between the clouds you could see round orb-like objects first they were stationary then they moved about like the were following the storm clouds.”

Witness extract: “From the west came what I can only describe as a flock of birds by the way they were moving - they where flitting in and out of each other, like a firework which had just exploded - they where an orange colour.”

Witness extract: “As we drew closer the light looked like a sparkler going off in different directions but was stationary and had a black/dark object above it to the left rapidly changing shape.”

Witness extract: “It seemed quite large and looked like a plane on fire - at first we thought it was a plane in trouble falling from the sky as it disappeared downwards in a diving motion and we could see it falling as if on fire and could be seen lit up through and behind the trees -there was no noise about 10 seconds it suddenly appeared to fly back up into view and was static for a moment, its shape was now circular and very bright it then quickly manoeuvred round and then seemed to change shape to what looked like an elongated disc flying saucer type shape.”

Witness extract: “I came out of my house and looked at the sky (facing south) - I saw what I immediately thought was Venus because it was the same size and brightness and then I saw it was moving steadily.”

Witness extract: “I looked and could see an aeroplane and behind it looked like a bright star, it was circular in shape and appeared to be following the plane - the plane changed direction and the object following it changed direction opposite the plane and carried on travelling over the mountain until it disappeared out of view.”

Witness extract: “A triangular set of lights - 7 in total moving very fast from direction of south of Norwich towards north - they came over my house and I can defiantly say it was not a solid object as the stars were visible in and around the object - It moved very quickly and was completely silent.”

Witness extract: “I saw the helicopter and above it was a grey disc circular shape - I called out my neighbours and my girlfriend who all saw it.”

Witness extract: “I noticed a bright white ball of light really high up but it was slowly moving South then stopped for approx 2 minutes before changing direction to North, and with more speed - It then disappeared.”

Witness extract: “I saw a triangular object pass over at a distance - object had a light on each corner and was black in colour.”

Witness extract: “Travelling in a coach towards Kingskerswell on the A380, glanced out the window to the west and briefly saw a large bright white light on the horizon - It was the brightness that really caught my attention - the hedges at the roadside prevented more than a couple of seconds viewing.”

3 orange balls of light still in the sky were observed.

Witness extract: “I saw two objects 2 times 4 hours apart - one was quite low above ground level size approx 2 meters triangle - squared with a height of 1 meter it had blue, orange, yellow and green lights all around the frame work.”

Witness extract: “Saw blinking light in distance from house over Shincliffe Way - it was very clear night and it was way to low in sky to be a star - as it was not moving and we could not hear any sound, we ruled out fixed wing aircraft - with binoculars, it looked triangular with lights on bottom and red light going around side.”

Witness extract: “A single light floating in the sky - we watched for a while then two other lights appeared behind the first one creating a triangular shape - we watched in pure shock as this triangular shaped craft was hovering above us - after about 2 – 3 minutes the craft rotated about 180 degrees and disappeared.”

Witness extract: “2 bright lights came drifting across the sky alongside each other - initially, I thought they had to be satellites, until they both stopped dead in their paths and began circling each other rapidly, first counter-clockwise, then clockwise - they then changed direction, continuing to move together before reaching another bright light, which appeared from nowhere -the 3 lights then started moving around together, covering large distances at varied speeds in all manner of directions, before then forming a small triangle - they stayed in this triangular formation for about 10 minutes before moving across the sky again, maintaining this precise shape at all times - they appeared to stop again, only this time each light moved in and out – increasing and decreasing the size of the triangle - after 5 minutes of shape-shifting, the 3 lights expanded once more before taking turn about changing colour; from red, white and green.”

Witness extract: “I saw a UFO it had 3 orange circles in the shape of a triangle the orange circles were not pulsating though they had a constant glow - it was moving across the sky at an incredible speed and it was low and silent you could not hear a thing.”

Witness extract: “Looked to the east and saw a dark shadow to start with. as it came closer you could see three lights in a triangle shape as it went over our heads, we couldn’t make out a proper shape of what it was.

Witness extract: “I saw a bright apparent star rise up in the sky travelling towards me from a NNW direction - I thought it was the ISS but when I checked that on the night sky app the ISS was at that time the other side of the earth.”

Witness extract: “As the ‘aircraft’ came nearer I realised that there were additional lights to the ‘wings’ and the aircraft was not climbing and there was no engine / thrust noise which would be usual (and advised given we’re in the lower reaches of the Pennines), and as it grew closer; and still in line with my vantage point, I could clearly see that if was V shaped and had at least 6 lights (three on each arm so to speak) which we’re very ‘white’ – it sounds ludicrous but the shape reminded me of the ‘Atari’ games console shaped A but without the – across. It was a sort of splayed V.”

Witness extract: “I witnessed an object that was brighter than any star - it was a bright white circle of light with a glowing white aura slightly away from its mass, and no flickering - I could not tell if it was spherical due to the intense white light.”

Witness extract: “A very bright light appeared in the wow at an elevation of 25 degrees - it moved quickly overhead heading see and brightened to maybe 10 times the brightness of a full Venus - I watched it through binoculars and it had a distinct circular shape that seemed to be self illuminated in a yellowy white light - as it moved quickly to the see it’s light dimmed and the shape became elliptical - it seemed to speed up too - the speed was maybe 5 times faster than a satellite, and through binoculars this silent object was clearly circular.”

Witness extract: “I counted up to 11 different sets of flashing lights at once - I can only describe them as distant police car lights - they were like red, white and blue (together) strobe lights flashing very quickly, moving across the sky at different speeds and changing direction - sometimes they would be very close together, other times far apart. They definitely weren’t planes, and I know other people had been confused as to what they were too - after flying around for about 5 minutes, they all vanished as quickly as they appeared.”

Witness extract: “2 white lights above our garden - I went outside to have a closer look - the lights were brighter than the stars and were moving slowly from south to north - as I watched them a third light appeared behind the other 2 it than moved past the middle one, and than did a figure of eight movement between the other 2 - all 3 then just faded away this only took ninety seconds to 2 minutes”

Witness extract: “Bright white light moving across the sky looked like and moved like the International space station - checked night sky app and ISS wasn’t there - light stopped moving and then went down a little now moving in a different direction, it then changed colour from white to red and then faded and disappeared in a matter of seconds with no clouds around.”

Witness extract: “A bright white light flying slowly above me south to north direction at a few thousand feet - I saw no navigation lights and heard no engines - I watched it for approximately a minute then it seemed to fade out and disappear as it got further away.”

Witness extract: “The first sighting travelled in a Southerly direction. We can only describe it as a ghostly looking Boomerang shape, it was much slower that the shooting stars and was visible for about 8-10 seconds - After about 5-6 seconds it appeared to stop and turn a sharp left before hovering and then shoot directly up into the night sky - later on, we encountered another ghostly Boomerang, it travelled again in a Southerly direction, again it appeared to slow or hover before darting off into the night sky in a Easterly direction, this was visible for about 6-8 seconds.”

Witness extract: “we noticed what appeared to be 2 stars getting brighter, they increased in intensity for a while and then took us by complete surprise by moving simultaneously - they moved across the sky together for a few minutes in a perfectly straight line with no audible sound - the lights then stopped dead and remain fixed in the sky again - we observed them for a good 15 minutes in which time they did not move at all, they just looked like stars again.”

Witness extract: “1 light moving towards us, travelling at speed similar to a satellite, getting brighter - it then seemed to veer to the change direction away from us, but was still visible while instantaneously the light went out and reappeared travelling in the opposite direction.”

Witness extract: “I noticed a big blue orb, bigger than stars or plane and appeared closer to earth - the blue object suddenly shot forwards into the sky leaving a blue misty trail which vanished along with the orb.”

Witness extract: “two bright lights flying across the sky that bright they were almost silver. Each light was flying in the same direction and one below the other.”

Witness extract: “A round circle behind the clouds that was pulsing from pink to purple slowly and then quickly - when I got into the field I saw the same thing but only with white light it pulsed about 6/8 times then there was a longer pulse and then it disappeared.”

Witness extract: “I notice just one star, looked at it for a couple of seconds and it moved, then moved again, so I went to get a pair of binoculars and what I saw is just unusual, trying to describe it in the dark is hard but it had 3 thin flat lights and it was moving slightly about.”

Witness extract: “I noticed a ball of white light in the sky, I got up to see - It stayed for about 7 or 8 seconds then vanished - I stayed looking out my window for a further few seconds when it reappeared but in a different place.”

Witness extract: “I saw a green light in the sky that looked like a flare going up. It changed colour to white and began moving side to side, then circular falling motion and then it would shoot back up in the air like a flare again - it kept changing colour from vivid green to white, this went on for a few minutes then shot up into the sky and disappeared.”

Witness extract: “Small, silent, orange orb with prismatic aura flew west - east in a perfectly straight line, followed shortly after by another on the exact same path - then a third one followed five minutes later slightly to the north.”

Witness extract: “My Wife and I observed sporadic white flashes of light on the horizon just over the hills to the northeast of Glossop. - some appeared to come from the ground others flashed at around 3000ft (the moors are around 2000ft high) - the flashes were so bright they lit up the entire horizon.”

Witness extract: “I saw what just looked like a star but it was moving - I realised that it was very high, and I could not hear any noise at all - It headed towards me then moved over to the left - it looked like it actually flew around the star in a circular direction and again darted very quickly to the right, away from the star, and then continued in a straight line above our heads until we could not see it anymore as it flew out of sight over out house.”

Witness extract: “Laying in my bed then all of a sudden my room was bright - just as it was bright it suddenly went dark again -I looked out my window and I saw a dark shape adjacent to my window - just like that the UFO was gone.”

Witness extract: “I was laying flat on my back in bed looking out of the window trying to go to sleep - my attention went to one extremely bright circular shape that looked like a star at first, but I could see a slight shaped outline, sort of ringed - I noticed red light either side and the main light in the middle got brighter suddenly and then dimmer - then it started moving very quickly up and down left and right just in a small area of the sky - it projected an bright image of a figure walking on the spot and then a figure almost walking through the sky - the object then change to a vertical thin line and sort of moved towards me very fast, - it did this a few times and then vanished - the whole thing latest about 20 minutes.”

Witness extract: “I observed what appeared to be 4 or 5 parachutes SW of my position, then I realised that they were darting backwards and forwards across the sky - there also appeared to be a large triangular shape in the same vicinity, but the reflection of the sun of this object made it very difficult to distinguish the actual shape - the discs were white and had 5 or 6 membranes emanating from the centre which, at first glance, made me think they were parachutes - the large object appeared to be silver but in the glare of the sun it was difficult to tell.”

Witness extract: “an object shaped like a triangle with long white lights down the side and a red light at the back that was pulsing - flew very slowly over the A10 going towards Hertford.”

Witness extract: “I spotted a dim shooting star crossing the sky. pointed it out to my Wife, at which point it turned in an arc and went off in another direction”

Witness extract: “This orb what I actually did see maybe a week ago fly in the pathway of the planes so I thought nothing of it but this time like last flew through the air silent and flashed on and off simultaneously.”

Witness extract: “Driving along A11, had one large sphere of light dance around in the sky and follow us for over 10 miles - this started at the Barton Mills roundabout and went on until just after the A11 joins the A14 - sometimes it was darting around ahead of us, sometimes behind us and backwards and forwards across the carriageway. It also darted down behind the tree line next to the road and then whizzed back across in front of us - at one point there appeared to be smaller lights near it, which then disappeared.”

Witness extract: “A glowing bright white light was tearing across the sky at a ridiculously fast speed - I assumed it was a shooting star but then it stopped dead in the sky still glowing.”

Witness extract: “I saw 3 bright orange lights in a perfect row which stood out to me in the clear night sky as they where bigger than any average bright object in night sky - There were smaller red lights between the orange, which pulsed along, and with what looked like a blurry out line of a triangle surrounding these lights.”
