Original report: A brightly lit aerial object was observed. Witness stated: "I went outside at around 10 to 8, and on looking up I saw, very low in the sky, what I first assumed was a plane. It was roughly triangular in outline - a set of eight static bright lights, 1 flashing red light, and a white flashing light. There was a high-pitched sound that soon faded away, and the object was huge, about twice the size of a normal jet aircraft. The object moved extremely slowly towards the north-west, making no noise, flying just above the house rooftops. The sighting lasted around 10 minutes before the object faded into the distance. Did anyone else see this? I live on the Hollycroft Estate." (IN-Med).

I was just outside our front door when I heard a whining noise above me, and on looking up, I saw this enormous flying object covered in lights. It was flying very, very slowly and moved just above the rooftops. Several other people in our close on the Hollycroft estate also saw it, and watched it with me as it faded into the distance. Someone said it must have been a UFO.

Regarding your request for other witnesses to the Brown sighting. I was also privileged to witness a similar object to that described crossing the sky above Wykin village at just before 8 p.m. It made hardly any noise and had 10-12 large static white lights and a red flashing light. It was definitely a triangular shape, very large and very low. I watched it for about 10 minutes before it moved into the distance heading towards the north-west. I know others saw this because the next day, several people where I work said that they had also seen a similar thing at the same time as me.
