Alleged low level UFO over Bramcote, Leicestershire 8/7/15.

The following statements have been received at LUFOIN Head office via E-Mail allegedly from soldiers stationed at Bramcote Barracks regarding the alleged Bramcote UFO Incident of July., 8th 2015 - (File refs: 51/15/41 and 42).

Our investigators have no way of validating this received information at this time, and therefore it can be taken at face value only.

However, it is thought that because of LUFOIN's open policy, whether or not the statements are in fact simply hoax material, (which we do not think so due to other information received) we should here publish the statements in the public domain, perhaps if only for further discussion of their content.

At this stage therefore,  readers are of course asked to make up their own minds regarding any claims made, and also note that LUFOIN does not except any responsibility whatsoever regarding the validity of these statements.

Below then, appears paraphrased versions of the Statements dated 13th/14/th July 2015. - with the identity of the writers  remaining unknown.

STATEMENTS:

Account One: (Soldier 'T')

"We've been warned off talking about this so I won't give my personal details. On the 8th. I was awoken by soldier 'M', he was agitated, and said there was a breach of security on the perimeter of the base. Several men went with me to the armory (sic) to suit up. On arrival at the small copse we witnessed a bright blue machine. One of the sentry's (sic) already there was flashing his mag lite torch at it. It flashed  a red light back as if in communication. Two lance jacks turned up filming the event. We watched in awe for two minutes as it hovered above the trees. One lad said he could see three small men at a see through front, but no one else saw that. There was a humming noise in the air... The machine rose to 400 feet and glided towards Wolvey."

Account Two: (Soldier 'D')

"I wish to remain anonymous - I am one of the soldiers on guard duty on the night of the blue UFO. One of my mates radioed me to meet him at the fence on the edge of the camp. I saw a light from a distance - it was a strong blue strobe light. As I got closer, I realised that the light was a craft, huge and hovering. Whatever it was, it wasn't ours. Others joined us watching the object, it was a weird shape, like a cake mix bowl."

Comments:

Other people working at the barracks have since also been in touch with LUFOIN regarding this particular incident and their information seems to confirm that something unusual did indeed occur that night, and,  if further information received is correct, it was of great interest to officials both at and off the camp. We are also now told however, that any further information is now proving difficult and is being treated as totally confidential material.

Whether or not the incident was truly UFO related is still in doubt at this time, and is not entirely clear, but it certainly cannot be ruled out, and also it must be kept in mind that there was a flood of unusual reports made to LUFOIN regarding unusual objects in the skies on the same evening.
